I just got home from work.

I was setting up a private party for a baptism...and then they called and cancelled. So, I sat at the bar for a bloody mary. I drove the Audi to work because my civic doesn't start when its cold outside. it drove really well and I gave a coworker a ride home because he had walked over a mile or something silly like that.

Reese's bandmate Ian is in town for their show tonight and I told him the name of my blog, "Just keep Sarzing." He's now listing off other titles such as "Sarz with the wind" "Finding Sarzy" "Sarzy and the beast" "Sarzarella" etc. "Sarz and the Hound" "Mrs Sarzfire" "Sarz Wars: The trilogy"

Any others?

Hold on let me uphold snow pictures...get ready for a lot of "awwwwwwwwwwww" ing.

oh it looks like they all posted at the top.

I bet you said "aw."

I think I'm going to watch Jennifer's Body???

Sarzy sad.

Sarz trying to watch the episode of lost thats on demand and trying to understand. I think someone is going to fall in a hole because i saw the 5 minute recap, also on demand.

Maybe I'll finally start watching Lost for its last season.

Hello

Bonjour,

Welcome to Sarzy's new adventure in blogging. Here, I hope you will all be able to catch up with my thoughts (as well as those of chompers), my daily meals, and activities.

I will share with you my ever changing thoughts on such things as: life, love, chow chows, grief, school, failures, triumphs, family, tv shows, cooking in, bloody marys, poop patrol, and hair color.

Today I woke up at 6 am and could not fall back asleep for a few hours. I was nervous about my appointment with the SPCA at 12 noon. Tucker was scheduled to go in for behavior tests so they could admit him for adoption.

Finally, I did fall back asleep and woke up around 11 to get ready and go. I let the other hound pups say goodbye to Tucker and put him in the backseat of the 93 Audi we now have, put the windows down and drove all the way down Meadow street, across Monument, across Broad, past Chipper Stark's apartment complex and to the SPCA.

Upon arriving and parking some women approached my window and asked if I was going into the SPCA. I responded "yes" and was handed a damp child's book about Hannukah lights and told it was on the ground. I put it in my purse but did not turn it into the SPCA.

The man at the front desk was very nice, as were many other staff and volunteers who talked to me while I waited. They kept assuring me that Tucker would pass these behavior tests and that they would find him a home.

I waited outside the gift shop when they took him back into the staff room. A admissions counselor came out and explained to me that Tucker could not be accepted because he was a "food guarder." I asked her to explain because he'd never shown any problems when being fed at home. Apparently with all of the volunteers, dogs are being fed by someone different everyday and they can't risk having a dog there who is food protective.

I started getting too upset to stay and left the SPCA immediately. When I got in the car I started thinking of simply driving to the Shelter and being done with it. I know Tucker would be adopted, but this was becoming quite the hassle.

A couple bloody marys later I texted Dave McGregor telling him what had happened at the SPCA. I explained that I could no longer keep the dog, had tried to find him a home and could not. Then I told him he needed to come pick him up. I haven't heard back from him.

If Dave ends up taking Tucker to the shelter, i can't do anything, but it is still not my responsibility to take the dog to the shelter, take him to the vet, track down Dave to pay for vaccinations, and find the dog a home.

I just want my sir chomps a lot.

That reminds me, I have to pick up all the dog poop before it snows this weekend.

6-10 inches!!!
